December 18, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #21 Item Title C-20 Cost Reimbursable Subagreement between the School Board of Clay County and the University of South Florida Issue/Rationale The School Board of Clay County was awarded a mini-grant in the amount of $50,000.00 from USF.  Problem Solving/Response to Intervention Project to fully implement the PS/RtI model using 3 pilot schools (AES, SPC, TES) and 3 comparison schools (TBE, PES, ROE).  Endorsement from U.S. DOE and authorization from Congress through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA 2004) initiated the utilization of the PS/RtI Model in schools nationwide to create well-integrated systems of instruction intervention guided by child outcome data. Recommended Action Approve the Cost Reimbursable Subagreement between the School Board of Clay County and the University of South Florida as submitted.
